Anyone who learns to prepare Turkish food with Nese in the UK will be in excellent hands. 

I attended Turkish cookery lessons given by Nese Yurtcu for 18 months when I first moved to Turkey in August 2015.

Although I am an experienced cook, it was great to attend the group classes and to be taught by someone of Nese’s experience and expert knowledge. We covered a variety of dishes from cold mezzes, main course and special occasion dishes through to delicious desserts.

Nese explained each stage of the dishes that we prepared clearly and in very fluent English; she also provided a copy of the recipes and instructions in English. I still cook many of the dishes and the Turkish Yummies website is a “go to” for Turkish recipes. My husband also attended one of Nese’s men’s classes which gave him confidence with preparing Turkish food.

We will miss Nese but know that anyone who learns to prepare Turkish food with Nese in the UK will be in excellent hands.
