Nese is an excellent cook and very thorough instructor of Turkish Cuisine skills.

With great pleasure I can highly recommend Nese Yurtcu´s cooking classes.

I had the honour to attend her first class starting in January 2012, and I attended also at least half a dozen more, a few in a professional restaurant kitchen and a few in Nese’s well designed clean home kitchen. Even my brother joined a class once he was visiting Istanbul. And even my husband joined a class for men only on a Saturday.

We all can confirm, that Nese is an excellent cook and very thorough instructor of Turkish Cuisine skills. Each class started with a good Turkish Tea in the morning, followed by very well prepared two hours of intense group work. Finally we enjoyed a handmade traditional Turkish lunch together, soup, salad, main course, fantastic dessert and optional classic Turkish coffee in pleasant conversation. Nese also gave us good hints for decorating the dishes for serving at the table.

Conversation included related traditional background stories accompanying the dishes and ingredients, coming along with actual hints to where to shop the authentical ingredients.

It was always very entertaining and included a variety of themes, like meat / fish / vegetarian / or any ingredients wished by one of the participants.
